Zoho Implementation FAQ

Do you work with businesses outside Chicago?

Of course. We’re based in Deerfield, IL and work remotely with clients across the U.S. and internationally.

What happens after the Zoho implementation?
Most Zoho platforms require post-engagement technical support due to their complexity and the nature of SaaS products. You are welcome to use any of our Zoho support plans — no hour blocks, pay-as-you-go, or a monthly, non-locking retainer. Your team will be trained to operate independently.
Do I need Zoho One, or individual apps?

Zoho One ($37/user/month, all employees) is typically more cost-effective if you need 3+ apps regardless of the team size. We’ll determine the best licensing model during discovery. See all 45+ Zoho One apps →

Can I migrate to Zoho from QuickBooks, Salesforce, or HubSpot?
Yes. We help our customers to migrate from QuickBooks Desktop, Salesforce, HubSpot, ACT!, and spreadsheet-based systems. We’ll recommend either a full migration or “fresh start” based on your data quality and complexity.
How long does a Zoho implementation take?
There’s no way to tell because each Zoho implementation is different. From our experience, an average timeline ranges from 1-2 weeks for basic Zoho CRM implementation to 3–6 months and more for complex implementations, custom integrations, and multiple processes to map and support. Sprint-based delivery means you see working results at the end of each sprint, but the number of sprints depends on the complexity.
What are the key considerations for a successful Zoho implementation?

Successful Zoho implementation involves several key factors:

  • engaging in a thorough discovery phase to align expectations
  • understanding the complexity of business processes
  • working with Zoho certified consultants
  • signing appropriate contracts
  • clearly defining your goals and objectives
  • considering the Agile methodology to remain adaptable throughout the process.
  • Viewing IT work as a critical investment rather than a low-cost option
Zoho Partners promote and support Zoho apps. Do you run your business on Zoho apps?

A big, fat “Yes.” As a proud Zoho Partner, United Parts of Chicago exclusively runs on Zoho. We follow the principle of “walking the talk.” While we’re not required to rely solely on Zoho, nor are we bound by any agreements to avoid other software, we choose this path for a reason.

By fully leveraging Zoho, we engage in the same experience as our customers, which allows us to effectively communicate our needs, report any bugs, and share customer feedback directly with the Zoho development teams. If you’re walking your customers’ shoes daily, you automatically provide better service for your clientele.

There are a few specific areas where Zoho doesn’t provide solutions; in such cases, we turn to other excellent software options.

How Much Does a Zoho Implementation Cost?

It depends on the scope, which is exactly why we start with a discovery phase before any quoting. A standalone Zoho CRM setup for a small team can start in the low thousands; a multi-app Zoho One implementation with data migration, custom integrations, and team training for 50+ users will be significantly more. Every project gets a fixed-price Statement of Work after discovery — no hourly surprises. For context, our current ad hoc consulting rate is $150/hour (March 2026), but implementation projects are always scoped and priced as fixed-budget engagements. See what drives the cost above, or book a Clarity Call for a rough estimate based on your situation.

Our Zoho support plans are priced separately, on the case-by-case basis.
