They are configured in Agent Studio, Zoho’s no-code builder, with access to 700+ pre-built actions across the Zoho suite.

Zia Agents users are welcome to build their own agents, which is, essentially, the purpose of the platform, but there’s also a Zia Agents Store where one can pick up a ready-to-use Agent and employ it immediately.

Zoho Mcp + CRM — External AI Connected to Your Sales Data

Some workflows require reasoning beyond what Zia’s native models handle. Zoho MCP connects external AI models — Claude, GPT, and other MCP-compatible LLMs — directly to your CRM data.

Practical Zoho CRM + Zoho MCP + Claude use cases we’ve implemented or scoped:

  • Natural-language pipeline analysis: Ask Claude to review your pipeline and surface deals that need attention — across dimensions Zia’s predefined reports don’t cover.
  • Cross-app workflow coordination: A single prompt triggers actions across CRM, Desk, and Books — e.g., when we close a Zoho CRM deal, Claude creates the invoice in Books, assigns a support contact in Desk, and updates the CRM record. All that is achievable via non-AI integration methods; the MCP way is definitely slower but way more flexible.
  • Custom reporting: Generate ad-hoc analyses in plain language without building Zoho Analytics dashboards from scratch.
  • Ticket classification from CRM context: We use this ourselves, too: Claude classifies incoming Desk tickets using CRM data for context, assigns products from the Desk Products module, and routes to the right agent.
